About Bernard

2010 Winner of Prilosec OTC® “The Official Sponsor of Everything You Do Without Heartburn” promotion as their Official TV Host

Growing up in Northeastern Pennsylvania, was probably the most unexciting place to thrive, but it is my home and will always be a place I call home. Today, I am still living in NEPA, but I am going to school in Pittsburgh, PA to certainly broaden my horizons and excel beyond average in a much larger environment. At the age of 15, I left my mother, siblings, and a couple of close friends to go to a boarding school for low-income children called Milton Hershey School. Here, I received a really great education and experiences that I would never have received if I stayed in NEPA.

Graduating in 2009 from high school was a big accomplishment for me and I continue to thank and give credit to MHS for really enabling their students to go beyond that poverty stricken line and encourage many to make something out of themselves. Upon graduating, I was given a scholarship to continue my education and further my interest in becoming a television talk show host. I was not about to lose 79,000 dollars, so I chose to go to Point Park University. Little did I know at the time that Point Park is known for their journalism and media programs, I was under the impression that its conservatory of performing arts was the leading factor to the school’s success. By a convenient secret of fate, I landed in just the right spot.

I enjoy many subjects in school, so instead of concentrating solely on journalism or media, I chose to branch out and individualize my major. So I chose interdisciplinary studies because it would offer me enough leeway in my coursework to take core television and acting classes right off the bat with additional general education courses.  I am learning quite a bit in the realms of  the media and world and hopefully put the knowledge taught to outstanding use!

This “show-blog” as I like to call it, is my way to reach out to you as a reader and fellow internet user. I want to establish a good foundation of support before I make entertainment headlines and I need your help to do so.  I value people’s opinions and look to learn as much as I can. I believe a talk show host must have compassion, knowledge, and respect to appeal to their audience.

My personal mission for my career is to inspire those who need inspiration, help create their passions, and keep people dreaming of new things! I really want to make a positive difference in the world and I certainly need people to help support me. I have and will always be a strong believer in “what goes around, comes around.”
